We’re excited to announce our upcoming Winter Ready Event, taking place on Thursday 11th September 2025, from 10:00 to 14:00, at the Salvation Army in Newcastle-under-Lyme and you’re invited!
This community-focused event is designed to bring together local services, healthcare teams, and voluntary organisations to support the health and wellbeing of people living across the Newcastle North Primary Care Network area.
Visitors will have the chance to speak with a wide range of services, including:
- PCN Teams – Pharmacy First, Paramedic, Dietitian, Cancer Screening, and NHS App support.
- Local Health & Care Services – Alzheimer’s Society, Support Staffordshire, Foodbank, Everyone Health, and many more.
- Support & Advice – Citizens Advice, Digital Angels, Household Support Fund, Warm Homes info from Beat the Cold.
- Community Transport & Carer Support – Newcastle Community Transport, Door 2 Door, Reaching North Staffs.
- Patient Participation Groups (PPGs) – Audley Health Centre, Heathcote Street Surgery, Kidsgrove Medical Centre, Talke Clinic, and Mount Road Practice.
This is a free, drop-in event open to all of our patients in the area. Whether you’re looking for health advice, help accessing services, or just want to learn more about what support is available in your community, we’d love to see you there.
