Deafblind Awareness Week | 23rd-29th June 2025

Deafblind Awareness Week

This week, we join the national effort to raise awareness of deafblindness, a combined sight and hearing impairment affecting over 450,000 people in the UK.

🔹 What is Deafblindness?
Deafblindness doesn’t always mean complete loss of sight and hearing. It affects individuals differently; some may need to make small adjustments to daily life, while others rely on support for communication and mobility.

🔹 Inclusive Futures
This year’s theme focuses on how children and young people are affected by sight and hearing loss, and what we can do to create inclusive futures for the next generation.

🔹 Get Involved
